Too much melamine found in popular biscuits
KUALA LUMPUR : Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said 18 out of 47 Khong Guan and Khian Guan biscuit products have excessive levels of melamine .
The products have been ordered to be removed from the shelves immediately, he said.
A number of food products in Malaysia are being tested following the melamine-tainted China milk scare and those that have melamine levels above the permissible 2.5 parts per million have been ordered off the shelves.
